Most expensive building in the world.

With the rate of inflation and and the urge to build bigger and better buildings this record may not last long. The most expensive building ever built that we could find is the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong designed by architect Leoh Ming Pei.

The Bank of China Tower, built in 1989, is 72 stories, measuring 369 meters or 1,209 feet and cost $1 billion USD to build. The Freedom Tower at the World Trade Center is expected to be completed in 2009 at a cost of $1.5 - 2 billion USD.

Big Notice Here!!

If you think that you're a better leader, why don't you just step ahead and lead?! Don't blame the leader for the wrong reasons. Next time,i'll just say once and won't give a damn 'bout your question!

Information and Communication Skills

Information and communications technology or information and communication technology, usually called ICT, is often used as an extended synonym for information technology (IT) but is usually a more general term that stresses the role of unified communications and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), intelligent building management systems and audio-visual systems in modern information technology. ICT consists of all technical means used to handle information and aid communication, including computer and network hardware, communication middle ware as well as necessary software. In other words, ICT consists of IT as well as telephony, broadcast media, all types of audio and video processing and transmission and network based control and monitoring functions.

Blog-ing Progression

There's not much progression on my blogs, i'm just posting things 'bout all my subjects.
We did some of the practical such as chaining, leveling, and contouring. For some reasons, we felt good when we did it successfully and really a disappointment when we did wrongly.
I'll be updating this blog again soon.:)

Land Surveying

Surveying or land surveying is the technique and science of accurately determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional position of points and the distances and angles between them. These points are usually on the surface of the Earth, and they are often used to establish land maps and boundaries for ownership or governmental purposes.
To accomplish their objective, surveyors use elements of geometryengineeringtrigonometrymathematicsphysics, and law.
An alternative definition, surveying is the science and art of making all essential measurements to determine the relative position of points or physical and cultural details above, on, or beneath the surface of the Earth.
Furthermore, as alluded to above, a particular type of surveying known as "land surveying"  is the detailed study or inspection, as by gathering information through observations, measurements in the field, questionnaires, or research of legal instruments, and data analysis in the support of planning, designing, and establishing of property boundaries. It involves the re-establishment of cadastral surveys and land boundaries based on documents of record and historical evidence, as well as certifying surveys of subdivision plats/maps, registered land surveys, judicial surveys, and space delineation. Land surveying can include associated services such as mapping and related data accumulation, construction layout surveys, precision measurements of length, angle, elevation, area, and volume, as well as horizontal and vertical control surveys, and the analysis and utilization of land survey data.
Surveying has been an essential element in the development of the human environment since the beginning of recorded history (about 5,000 years ago). It is required in the planning and execution of nearly every form of construction. Its most familiar modern uses are in the fields oftransportbuilding and construction, communications, mapping, and the definition of legal boundaries for land ownership.
